A ski touring ascent and headlamp descent at Mont Owl's Head meant shooting in low light, cold temperatures, and terrain that never stops moving. Forty-plus participants across multiple phases of the evening — the climb, the summit, the descent, the fondue dinner — each demanding a different approach to capture effectively.
Coverage followed the event's natural progression from base to summit to dinner table. The ascent prioritized the group in motion against the winter landscape. The headlamp descent required careful exposure management in near-darkness. The fondue dinner gave space for tighter, warmer editorial frames that closed the evening.
