Brand-focused coverage
One event, four distinct environments. The base activation space with The North Face's booths and crowd energy. The gondola and the transition up the mountain. The ascent and ski touring in cold, low-light conditions. The dinner and celebration at the finish. Each environment demanded a different technical approach — exposure settings, movement strategy, and proximity to the action. The challenge was producing a cohesive set of 20 images where the shift in environment reads as depth, not inconsistency.

The shoot was structured around the event's natural progression rather than a fixed shot list. Each phase of the night — arrival, ascent, summit, descent, dinner — was treated as a distinct visual chapter with its own lighting logic and energy. The through-line across all of it was The North Face: in the gear people wore, the booths they passed, the prizes they took home, and the brand's name on an event the outdoor community shows up for year after year.
The North Face used the content across social media channels, generating strong positive engagement from the outdoor and ski touring community.
